Sanders & Sanders Ltd.

Sanders & Sanders Ltd. was established in 1873 by brothers William Sanders and Thomas Sanders in Rushden, Northamptonshire - an area now known as the heart of fine English shoe making.

The Sanders brother's vision was simple - offer outstanding footwear to discerning customers. To do so they employed five of the best local craftsmen, selected the finest English hides, the best local oak-bark tanned soles and began to design and make shoes & boots.
This vision has since been passed down from father to son (the company is currently in the fifth generation of family business), with the commitment to quality remaining unchanged in nearly 140 years of shoe making. Sanders & Sanders now employ over one hundred craftsman, using both traditional skill-sets and the best in modern production methods.

As well as supplying the UK, Sanders & Sanders export worldwide, and are particularly popular with Japanese shoe aficionados.

Sanders shoes are available online at Oi Polloi (europe)
