Surrender - 40 days Pop Up in Jakarta

This January, Mr. Earn Chen teams up with 707 crew to open a temporary pop up store in Jakarta, Indonesia. Having situated on the ground floor of Plaza Senayan, the store had its opening party last week, on January 17th, and scheduled to stay open for 40 days or six weeks. With the opening of Surrender's temporary retail space, men in Jakarta with deep pockets will be extremely happy cause they are bringing lots of good stuff inside.

The opening of store like Surrender (even just for a real short time) might proven that Indonesia is actually heading towards the right direction in the retail business. Last year, we had Otoko bringing Gitman, Yuketen, Porter and stuffs, and Brooks Brothers opened its first door in Indonesia. This year, we are also be welcoming the likes of H&M, Uniqlo, and Paul Smith. And not to forget, Lotte Shopping Avenue and Galerie Lafayette will also be opened this year in Jakarta.

Surrender Store, popping up soon in Jakarta

One of Singapore's finest menswear store, Surrender, is soon will open a Pop-Up shop here in Jakarta, at Plaza Senayan's ground floor area. The temporary hoarding is up, and lots of menswear enthusiasts in Jakarta got excited for this. It is said that the pop-up shop will be opened for a couple of months, and brings brands like WTAPS, Mark McNairy, Neighborhood, and so much more. I'm really looking forward for the opening, scheduled in late January 2013. 

p.s. : Plaza Senayan will also have Brooks Brothers open next year.

Some of you might have already familiar with one of The Goods Dept's Shop-in-Shop tenant, Standard Denim Supply Co.. Yep, the multi-brand shop that brings your favorite Denim brands is soon to be opening their stand alone store in Plaza Senayan, Jakarta. Yeah, i was excited about this when i heard about this.

"The new store will have a contemporary design inspired by the American heritage and industrial roots of denim and its original wearers. In addition to a frontage reminiscent of old factory stores, the interior will use dark blues, solid woods and oxidized metal to accentuate the classic feel. We want our guests to be able to smell, touch, and almost taste the denim in the air. In addition we willbe adding an in-store alteration and repair service to ensure that all denim bought not only fits perfectly, but keeps going as long as you do."

Standard Denim Supply Co. is the official stockist of Nudie Jeans co., Ksubi, The Flat Head, Naked & Famous, Cheap Monday, Imperial, Dr. Denim, Super, Wrangler Blue Bell, Lee 101, Dickies, and No Mas. The store is scheduled to open its door on this December 2011. Get Ready!

The price were also quite reasonable, according to what you ordered. Overall, Din Tai Fung is a Must Try.

I thought that i've already post this Pepper Lunch and turns out i haven't, so here it is..

Pepper Lunch is the perfect eats whether for your lunch or your dinner. Pepper Lunch offers you many selections of Beef, Salmon, Chicken, Sukiyaki, Salad, etc on their Clean looked fast food restaurant. The Interesting thing is how we eat them. They served their food uncooked (raw meat, raw fish or raw chicken) with rice + pepper paste on a (extremely) hot bowl so we can mix our food on our own with their special brown honey sauce or their garlic sauce.

My Recommended items on Pepper Lunch were :
