Alexandre Plokohov of Helmut Lang x UNIQLO

If you haven't heard this news by now, you might be living in a cave. Newly appointed Helmut Lang designer, Alexandre Plokohov (actually, i don't know who he was), dropped a range of collaborative collection with Japanese retailer, Uniqlo. Honestly, I'm more interested in these rather than those Wang x H&M thing. On the note, these collection will be available real soon at Uniqlo retail locations ranging from US$20 to US$60.

Needles - Unlined Cordovan Shoes

Needles has put their feet on the footwear game with their latest shoes, the Unlined Cordovan Shoe Collection. You read it, then you should know that these shoes are made using the finest leather. And since this is Needles, they won't use any material that is below their high standards. For their shoes, they are using the super fine shell cordovan leather from famous Horween 1905. The collection brigns out 4 models, and one of the shoes that really caught my eyes on is the Straight Tip. Beautiful.

Common by Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund

I always got a huge interest on brands that brings simplicity to the higher level. For example is this Swedish brand founded by Saif Bakir & Emma Hedlund, Common. The swedish brand has successfully created pieces that are very simple but comes in a very nice details from cutting and garments. Check out their lookbook below, photographed by Patrick Lindblom and styled by Andrej Skok.

Luxury Rap

You know there are several rap tracks that mention some of the world's finest designer or brands, such as Jay Z's verse on "Run This Town" that got "Maison Martin Margiela" on it, and when Jay Z mentioned "Tom Ford" on Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience single, "Suit & Tie". Well recently, british illustrator, Luke Skinner, made some sketch on this thing. Here's another look below.

Ebbets Field Flannels - Ripstop

Just found the new model from Ebbets Field Flannels on japanese online store, MAPS. A classic NY ball cap with short visor, but this time with a ripstop material. Available in two colors, Olive and Navy. Really nice. Here they are, below.

Beautiful Pants / Trousers

In this year 2013 so far, i've seen some trousers that i found really interesting from brands like Engineered Garments, Bru Na Boinne, Sonic Lab, Muji, BEAMS, etc. Let's take a look. These might inspire you real good.

BEAMS x Gramicci - Cropped Pants - Paisley embroidered on Chambray

Red Wing Postman 101 vs Tricker's x Norse Projects

Some said that Norse Projects' recent collaboration with Tricker's is a cheesy copycat move by taking Red Wing's Style No. 101, Postman Oxford. I won't say that they are completely wrong though. It has a resemblance of the earlier model of Red Wing that has been quite famous all this years. But i think both still got their own character, and in the shoe game, it's always been about taking something from an old design, and makes it even more perfect, doesn't it? I mean, c'mon, it's hard to come up with an original shoe design nowadays.

Maison Kitsuné + Café Kitsuné Tokyo

Gildas & Masaya recently teams up with french architecture, FHC, to create their Maison Kitsuné flagship store in the city of Tokyo. The result is this beautiful french styled interior, with japanese materials blended in. Not to forget, they also opened up the Kitsuné Café there, where you can try their beverages, while copping Kitsuné tees and the Parisien line.
