Blueover. Sneakers

Lots of people in this world trying to create pairs of sneakers that will look good on anybody's feet but they tend to fail, cause nobody can do it better than the OGs back in the 70-90s era. Common Projects is one among many sneaker brands nowadays that is successfully created new sneakers with the idea of simple & sophisticated, yet comes with a very nice branding. Their collaboration with Tres Bien & Our Legacy's Welcome brand, the track shoe, is one of the good example of classic with a twist.
Welcome x Common Projects - Track Shoe

Another brand i think can do something like this is this Japanese brand, BLUEOVER. The brand has recently released "mikey" sneakers that perfectly created something classic, but with a twist. The shoe features a color suede upper and a sole with cushioning system to prevent the owner to feel fatigue when wearing for a long time. The design is very nice, the upper suede leather is almost without a seam on the side, making it very simple, sleek, and sophisticated, not to mention, these are made in Japan. Beautiful. The shoe is available in three colors, Orange, Wine Red, and Navy Blue. Might be a good alternative other than your classic New Balance.

MUJI LABO

I just got back from Hong Kong two weeks ago, and had my first encounter with one of Muji's line, LABO. Yes, with its label MUJI LABO, the japanese label provides a new high-end housewear collection, that is representing the brand's value, which are balancing simplicity and practically, under a more refined vision. Not only comes with a cleaner cut and finer details, MUJI LABO products also labeled as "Environmentally Conscious", by their uses of organic fabrics and recycled materials. The prices is a bit steeper than their basic line, but believe me, its worth it. Just like their basic line, Muji Labo offers a minimalistic pieces of clothing that is done properly. Can't wait to get my hands on another piece of Muji Labo.

Practical | Useful | Straightforward | Edited | Simple | Wearable
Unpretentious | Comfortable | Basic | Environmental Conscious

Sassafras

Let's take a look at this Japanese label, Sassafras. What's not to love about this brand? Originally made with an inspiration of Gardening concept, Sassafras is now widely known as a brand that offers high quality products that comes with extra details that not only just as an eye pleaser, but actually has a true function. I mean details like additional tool & side pockets, loops for hammer, straps, and back satin insides is a brilliant details that not so many brand would have think about. Plus, all Sassafras products comes in a highly durable japanese materials and made using techniques that provides the strongest stitches. No doubt, Sassafras makes some of the most interesting and well made garments on the market right now.

Sassafras is now available in stores like Doo BopInventory Stockroom.

Sakana

Avoiding jakarta's crowded places and spots, last week i went to one of jakarta's japanese restaurant located at Mid Plaza 1 building, Sakana. I remember a friend of mine has recommended this place for a long time ago but i haven't been there until last saturday. Sakana is a restaurant that is brought by Kawano International group (the same that bring you Kado & The Grill) that offers a real authentic Izakaya Dining Experience. Shortly, i love this place and definitely will come here more often for the Saikoro Steak and Hourenso Butter.

*P.S. : There's lot of Japanese here that makes it even more authentic

Oh, and there's a bukkake udon for you if you want.

Don't worry, not "that" bukkake.
The word bukkake is often used in Japanese to describe pouring out water with sufficient momentum to cause splashing or spilling. Indeed, bukkake is used in Japan to describe a type of dish where hot broth is poured over noodles, as in bukkake udon and bukkake soba.

Japan's Hobo has came up with this cool idea by using a Full grain leather on their Field Quartz Watch. This watch is combined with Full Grain leather, based on the original field watch which is provided for the military.
