Jakarta, back then

Classic

Around two or three weeks ago, i found this page called 'Indonesia Tempo Dulu' on Facebook. Basically, what they are doing is posting some vintage photos & postcards of cities around Indonesia from the late 19th century to the late 80s. What i like is that on this page you can see how Indonesia, especially Jakarta was meant to be very decent from the side of transportation and city plan. Even in the '90s (since i was born in '87), I was able to witness some greatness that Jakarta had back then. Still green, people are cool, but somehow, our beloved city turns out to be extremely chaotic nowadays. What happened, really?

Nike Blazer Mid '77

I have always been a fan of Nike Blazer. Recently, Nike has unveiled their latest blazer from the vintage archive, the Mid '77. The classic blazer 1977 is an update from the original blazer 1972. The new vintage mid 1977 will available in 3 colors, Black/White, White/Black, White/Pine Green and White/Blue. For your information, End has opened a pre order now.

Hickoree's Ball Cap by Fair Ends

We know that when we're looking for a good classic ball cap, we tend to look to Ebbets Field Flannels. Not surprising, cause they are known as one of the best when looking for a good vintage style sports apparel, and they have been around since the 80s and their replica of vintage sports goods are exceptional. But you know, there are actually some other vendors that makes a good vintage style ball cap, and one of them is Fair Ends. In fact, recently Hickoree's Hard Goods has released their Ball Cap that are made by Fair Ends. The Ball Cap is made using unstructured wool twill body accented with wool felt "H" stitched to the front of the cap. Nike Air Tailwind Vintage QS

Originally produced in 1978, Air Tailwind is known as Nike's first shoe to incorporate their propriety cushioning technology, Nike Air, which conceived by aerospace engineer Frank Rudy and developed from 1977. The effort were repaid by the success of the first shoe to feature cushioning system.

In 2012, Nike brings back the legendary shoe. The 2012 retro of Nike Air Tailwind comes with a card explaining the technology and details featured on the shoe like Non-stretch Mesh Upper, Extended Heel Counter, Air Sole, Solid Rubber Waffle Outsole. The 2012 retro comes with its OG colorway, Metallic Silver / Blue Spark and a distressed sole.
