Vans Vault x Taka Hayashi - Spring 2013 Capsule Collection

Collaboration between Vans (Vault) with Taka Hayashi has got another collection coming. For this spring 2013, the capsule collection will release not just footwear products, but also apparel items. We have seen some teasers before via glltn, and recently, the full collection images has surfaced on the internet. 

TH Engineered Boot Zip LX

What's interesting from this season is the beautiful mountaineering feel, TH Engineered Boot Zip LX, which features a vibram outsole, combined with waxed suede and horween leather. This could be a bloody good alternative than your old pair of red wing boots.

TH Lace to Toe LX

Another great pair is the TH Lace to Toe LX (I know, the name's not working for me either). Inspired by classic military paratrooper boots, and also features horween leather atop of cristy vibram sole. What makes it nicer is the contrast colored leather accent on the back heel, it makes a very nice touch.

Lthrkrft Leather Goods - The Heritage Series

Saw this on Facebook today, and got a little excited. This is from the heritage footwear series from Bandung based brand, Lthrkrft. Known for their leather goods such as Bags, Belts, and Wallets, it seems that Lthrkrft is heading towards perfection with their footwear line, especially with this Heritage Series.

Yuketen : Maine Guide

Yuki Matsuda's brain child, YUKETEN has been always known as one of the best boots maker in the game right now. Since 1995, Yuki Matsuda has been working with Artisans across United States to recreate a true American Footwear classics. One of their iconic Yuketen design is off course, the Maine Guide boot.

The Attic : Far East Plaza Singapore

Went here last year, Singapore's "The Attic" is a one stop vintage shop where you can get cool stuffs from the yesteryear. Stuffs including Fashion Items like vintage Red Wing Boots, Vintage Ray Ban Sunglasses, Vintage Ferragamo Shoes, Vintage Cameras, Vintage Levi's, Vintage Vinyls, and so much more, it's all about Vintage there. Another Whiteboard Journal X the Footwear Group Creation

Last week when i went to The Goods Dept, i saw something interesting. Yep, it is the new collection from Whiteboard Journal and the Footwear Group. After previously joined for the Desert Boots, now they teamed up again and came with two awesome shoes. Price is below IDR 1 Million.

Red Wing X Woolrich

Once again, Red Wing has teamed up with Woolrich. Just like before, they are combining the high quality leather upper of Red Wing with the trademark woolen lumberjack finish from Woolrich that also features on the lining. Such a great collaboration between two American Classic.

Zevin Shoes

Zevin is the new hit in Jakarta right now. When a friend of mine said that there's gonna be a new brand from Jakarta who will focused their products in Leather shoes, i didn't think it would be this good. I might say, Zevin is probably one of the best leather shoes company in Jakarta right now. Their products reflects their hard work and passion on the making of their stuffs.

Superb material and incredibly neat on the details and stitching. These things prove that they are ready to be Indonesia's premium leather shoe brand who can compete with well-known International brands such as Red Wings, etc.

For their first release, they have the Chukka Boat which came in 2 colourways, Grey and Navy.
Using Italian genuine wax leather for upper side, combined with goat skin leather for inside.



Beside their Chukka boat shoe, Zevin are also releasing the Vulture Boot, which also came in 2 different colourway, Brown and Black. Using Cow genuine leather for the upper and Goat skin leather for the inside and comes with crepe sole.
