Whiteboard Journal interviews Mr. Kenya Hara

Have you checked out Whiteboard Journal's latest Roundtable? If you haven't, then you should. Because for this volume 17 of Roundtable, Mr. Leo had a chance to talk with the man behind lifestyle brand, MUJI, Mr. Kenya Hara. He was in Jakarta for Design ID Convention. Check out the video below.

Other than in charge as the Art Director of MUJI, He's also known for his works with Kenzo, and for Beijing Summer Olympics and Nagano Winter Olympics among others. Here are some examples of his works.

The Big Return of Footurama Swapmeet

Last month,  Footurama dudes held the return of one of their signature event, Footurama Swapmeet. After being in a 5 year hiatus, Footurama Swapmeet made its successful comeback by being supported by friends and families from Whiteboard Journal, Tuff Stuff Gang, Capital, MAD, Bluesville, Urbain, Elhaus, Pot Meets Pop Family, Maine St. Footwear, Lighthouse, Toidiholic, Bootleg Rgd., Otoko., Soleplay and Indonesia Sneaker Team. It was a great chance to see some crazy sneaker collections by Footurama dudes and Indonesia Sneaker Team Gang. The event were also supported by Isle of Seeds and Asia Afrika Soundsystem. Very Nice. Really looking forward for the next Footurama Swapmeet!

The Big Return of Footurama Swapmeet

So good to know that Footurama is bringing back one of their signature event, the Swapmeet. After 5 years in hiatus, Swapmeet will be making its return on this Sunday, September 9th 2012. Located at Whiteboard Journal's HQ, W_SPACE, the event is expected to be filled with rare kicks and pre-owned items from brand news, near dead stocks to super vintage goods. 

The event is said to be bringing some of our local finest brands including Bluesville, Tuff Stuff, Capital, Mad, Lighthouse, Maine St. Footwear, Elhaus, Bootleg Rugged, Pot Meets Pop Family and Urbain. The event are also supported by the dudes at Indonesia Sneaker Team, Soleplay Jakarta and Otoko, plus music provided by Isle of Seeds' ninjas and Asia Afrika Soundsystem & Kulki. It's gonna be legendary! 

One more thing, the event also marks the release of Footurama's new logo t-shirt in a very limited quantities.
