On 1967, three Seattle college grads were looking to avoid the confines of nine-to-five jobs: Skip, an outdoor enthusiast; Murray, an engineer; and Jan, a seamstress. Murray had won an award for an aluminum frame pack design and told Jan if she created a pack that sold, he’d marry her and name the company after her. She did. It did. And JanSport was born.

French brand, Kitsune, designed a weekend bag for Porter's father, Mr. Yoshida. This year is Monsieur Yoshida’s 75th birthday (founder of the Japanese brand Porter). He has traveled to many countries, but the destination that always comes to his mind is Paris. A modern and classic city, with a timeless tricolor elegance, beautiful Paris! For this occasion Kitsuné designed a weekend traveler’s bag for Monsieur Yoshida, in the hope that tricolor will look nice on him.
