D.I.Y. JanSport is Back!

Another great news! As i mentioned before, After a huge success at the last Brightspot Market, JanSport Indonesia is bringing back their D.I.Y. JanSport Campaign. D.I.Y. JanSport or known as the "Design It Yourself" JanSport is a campaign from JanSport Indonesia where their customer can make a personalization for their JanSport bag, by adding patches to the bag. The D.I.Y. JanSport is back since early 2012 for limited time. They have a booth right now at The Goods Department, Plaza Indonesia, and they provide the D.I.Y. until the campaign is over. So you better get to The Goods Department as soon as possible.

JanSport at Brightspot Market VII

On the last Brightspot, we saw a lot of brands doing some interesting stuff. One of the booth captured my interest is JanSport. JanSport Indonesia introduced a new campaign where consumers can personalize their own unique JanSport bag, and it seems they got great response from people who came. On this D.I.Y. (Design it Yourself) campaign, you can choose either the Super Break or Right Pack model, and then you can customize your bag with patches like alphabets or icons, and then you choose where you want to put it.

Due to popular demand, JanSport Indonesia said that they will launched the campaign again on early 2012, at The Goods Dept, Plaza Indonesia. Awesome!

Make Your Own JanSport at the Brightspot Market

For the very first time, JanSport announced that they will participate in the Brightspot Market (This weekend). They will be presenting their latest collection and introduce to the public, "Design It Yourself" JanSport. D.I.Y. JanSport is a customizing program where JanSport encourages customers to customize their own pick of bag. Off course this program is very interesting! Head to their booth on Brightspot Market at Booth A6.

On 1967, three Seattle college grads were looking to avoid the confines of nine-to-five jobs: Skip, an outdoor enthusiast; Murray, an engineer; and Jan, a seamstress. Murray had won an award for an aluminum frame pack design and told Jan if she created a pack that sold, he’d marry her and name the company after her. She did. It did. And JanSport was born.

The others are the Off Trail and Swinger. All of these JanSport Heritage series are currently available at The Goods Department, Plaza Indonesia, ranging from IDR 500.000 to IDR 1.600.000

JanSport Indonesia - Bag Design Competition Winner Announcement

Since April 2011-June 2011, JanSport Indonesia has held the Bag Design Competition 2011, and on July 21st, they finally announce the Winner. From over than 500 design which came over, JanSport Indonesia has picked the best 10 bag design and finally choosen the 3 Winners for this competition. The winners are Norma Aisyah (3rd Place), Teguh S. Putra (2nd Place) and Asep Wahyu (1st Place). These top 3 design is chosen directly by JanSport's founder, Skip Yowell. There's also a bag installation on the event, the JanSport "Summit" which displays various colors of JanSport backpack as a mountain. Cool.
