Three Seconds Bar at Epicentrum Walk, Kuningan, Jakarta

Went to Epicentrum Walk (Kuningan, Jakarta) last week, and found this interesting modern japanese shabu-shabu place there. The place named "Three Seconds Bar" (the name itself is taken from how many seconds it take to make a raw slice of meat into a cooked one in shabu-shabu).



The unique point of this place is that they serve pan for one person (so it is placed right in front of you), and you can mix your own shabu2 with selections of sauce, etc. so you can make it personal. With modern minimalist interior, this is one good place to eat a good shabu-shabu on the afternoon, or maybe for dinner.

Indonesia Mourns over the Bomb Explosions at Ritz Carlton & J.W. Marriott, Man Utd Cancelled their Indonesia Visit

After 4 years off peacefullnesswithout Bomb threat,now Indonesia had to mourn again. This time, a Bomb once again hit J.W. Marriott Hotel Kuningan (The Marriott was the site of a terrorist attack in August 2003 that killed 12 people. In that attack, an explosives-laden vehicle pulled into the motor lobby of the Marriott and exploded at the height of the lunch hour), and the other one hits The Ritz Carlton Hotel Kuningan , Jakarta both in the morning around 7 a.m.


This Jakarta bombing was just in time with Premier League's Champion, Manchester United's Asia tour visit to Indonesia. with the Bombing Blasts, Man Utd decided to cancel their visit to Jakarta to play with Indonesia All Star. Man Utd has just landed in Malaysia this morning, and then they heard the News. Sir Alex Ferguson said that this cancelation is the best thing to do and the best way to keep their players and officials safety.

Pastis, Located at Kuningan Area (Kuningan Suites, near by Four Seasons Hotel to be exact), offers a great ambiance of a semi-fine-dining restaurant. with their amazingly delicious foods and deserts. every food i tried here were all perfect, Lamb Chop, Hainan Chicken Rice, Fried Rice with Shredded Duck, some Fungi-something Pasta (forgot the name but they taste freaking delicious). In Addition, they had large selections of Wines.
