Bluesville - Light Blue Indigo Dye Button Down Shirt

A Friend of mine and a member of Darahkubiru who participated on Levi's Video Competition, Mr. Adystra B., has given us a look into one of Bluesville's upcoming release, the light blue indigo dye, button down shirt.

I must say, I'm so happy to finally see an Indonesian brand come up with a shirt that features a beautiful shaped collar, and its buttoned down. Lets get ready for the release!

Bootleg - Helmet Bag

Offered today is the latest release from Bootleg, the Helmet Bag. The Newest Bootleg bag which is the Bootleg Helmet Bag (named the BTLG100-011-CT) was inspired by USAF Helmet Bag, a bag for protect military aircrew's helmet. Bootleg Helmet Bag is made from one piece pattern waterproof Cotton Fabric, lined with twill cotton brushed (brown) and heavy twill cotton (green / limited to 3 pcs).

Features a Nylon webbing with genuine leather for the handstrap, and with metal ring slider for the length adjustment on the shoulder strap. Also features a metal hook to attach the strap to the bag and using No. 10 YKK Coil zipper (Sage Green) which refers to the Helmet bag issued by S&S Garment Mfg.Co.

Rogue Territory - Lightweight 6 Oz Denim

Even though it seems like heavyweight denim is pretty popular right now, never crossed my mind for me to buy one of those more than 18oz denim. Hence the beautiful fades, we live in Indonesia where the weather is.. you know, hot. It's a reason why sometimes a comfortable chino or trouser or maybe shorts is a good alternatives.

Well, i found something interesting on Rawr Denim. A lightweight 6 oz (yeah that must be super comfy) denim pants from Rogue Territory. This collaboration jeans between Rogue Territory & Ryan Plett uses a 6oz sanforized japanese denim from Kaihara Mills and featured with details such as Selvage on fly, Hidden pen pocket in right backpocket, hand branded leather patch and "trouser-like" front pocket. This pants are also handmade in downtown Los Angeles.



The jeans were available for Pre-order at Rogue Territory, but too bad that the pre-order has closed. This pair is Ideal for the summer heat but still wearable by day and night.

Weaver Moccasin is a footwear brand from Japanese designer Hiroshi Takahashi's High Bridge International company. Hand finished in Portugal, these shoes are rarely found outside of Japan.

Based on the original most coveted Clarks Wallabee designs from the late 60's (when they were still hand-made by Padmore & Barnes in Ireland) the attention to detail displayed throughout the Weaver Moccasin range is, as we have come to expect from our Far Eastern friends, faultless. The shoes are genuine moccasin construction uppers, stitched to a doubled layered crepe sole and the overall quality is amazing. Weaver Moccasin are a welcome re-interpretation of some of our favorite footwear.

Jazz Liberatorz - Indonesia

Couple of months back i heard this French Hip-Hop Crew, Jazz Liberatorz, and i have been in love with their music ever since. I'm a fan of hip hop like Wu-Tang, Tribe, Gang Starr, etc., and also a fan of old jazz music like Sinatra, Fitzgerald, King Pleasure, etc., and these two kinds of musics are what Jazz Liberatorz does. Their music is a tribute to the golden age of Hip Hop, taking its strength into the roots of the black music and more notably in jazz music. Through out the album, the listeners will discover warmful sounds of the old jazz fusion records from the 70's mixed with samples and live instruments.

Yesterday, when i once again browsing on Youtube for Jazz Liberatorz, i suddenly find out that in 2007, Jazz Liberatorz released a mini album on 12" Vinyl which contains 6 beautiful tracks and one of 'em is titled "Indonesia". The track "Indonesia" came in version, one which features Tableek of Maspyke, one is acapella and one is Instrument only. Stream these Jazz Liberatorz's below!

Temple of Jawnz (or ToJ) which founded in 2009, is known as one of the best jacket maker in the game. They've been known back in 2009 when they're quite famous in Superfuture forum, for making such a beautiful jackets such as Varsity jackets, Baseball jacket and a Harrington. Years of experimenting, TOJ know has developed several Jackets, including the all time classics like A2 Bomber Jacket, CWU45/P Flight Jacket, Classic Harrington Jacket and so many other. One of my favourite is off course, the MA-1 Jacket.

The Anniversary Edition of TOJ's MA-1 Jacket comes in 3 colorways, the original Olive, Black and Navy. Combined with an optional the standard safety orange or black lining. When Lacoste introduced their Lacoste L!ve Collection a while ago, i must say i did not really impressed with the products. But seeing the new drops of Lacoste L!ve for A/W 2011, i was like "wow, now they're talking!". Combining vintage and heritage inspirations with an outdoor style atmosphere, the collection shows beautiful color block marking and clear outlines. You can also find the French flag tricolor on some of the products.

I'm looking for a new case for my 15" Laptop and it's hard to find a good one. Yesterday while browsing through Urban Outfitters, i found this native print laptop case by the great O'Hanlon Mills. Its a slim protective laptop sleeve with zip closure. Features a soft corduroy lining on inside and removable wrist strap. This native print from O'Hanlon is available exclusively at Urban Outfitters for around US$29.

A new place in Kemang area! Yep, Hamptons Cafe Jakarta has just opened their door for since July 27th 2011. Located at Jl. Benda Raya, Hamptons Cafe offers a warm luxurious homey atmosphere which inspired by New York's Hamptons. You can't get enough of this place. The first floor, which came with an open bar, serves many selections from sweet canapes, tartlets and Chocolate fountain. Second Floor? makes you feel right at home, with a super cozy homey ambient, you will be so comfy here.



Lets start with the food, i have tried most of the main courses here. My Favorites? the Spaghetti Pesto (or you can choose between Tagliatelle or Fettucine) and the famous Chicken Cordon-Bleu. Other than that, you can also try their Burger Steak with homemade BBQ Sauce.

Drinks, They offers wide selections of beverages. They provides the famous T.W.G. Teas from silvermoon tea, black tea, gentlemen tea, and many other. Other than Tea? You name it, Coffee? from Espresso, Latte to Affogato. Smoothies or Milkshakes? Try the Strawberry Cheese-Cake or the Red Velvet Smoothies. Talking about Red Velvet, you should try the Red Velvet Cupcake with Rich Cream Cheese on top. Perfect for Dessert.

Last week, on July 27th 2011, Nike Indonesia presents the Fall 2011 Collection of Nike Sportswear. Themed "Always On", Nino Priambodo and Jeffry from Nike Indonesia guided us on a special tour of Nike which introduces their newest technology, Hyperfuse.



Yep, On this Fall 2011, Nike has come up with a new Tech, Hyperfuse, which creates a durable composite material composed of three layers; one for stability, one for breathable and one for durability. All three layers are fused together using heat and pressure to create a level of precision unattainable via traditional cut-and-sew methods. The uni-body design results in lightweight, breathable footwear and minimizes seams that can wear on an athlete’s foot. This time, the amazing Hyperfuse technology is combined with one of Nike's timeless, Air Max 90.
