Universal Works is an exciting new label headed by David Keyte, a kindred spirit, with over 20 years experience in the industry. David Keyte spent 10 years at Paul Smith, starting off in retail but moving into product development and production. Since then, he spent 5 years as head at Marharishi, and has worked closely with both Margaret Howell & Albam.



At a certain point, David realised he was "less interested in fashion and more in the function, fit and cut of garments". Wanting to explore this further, he decided the best way was to set up a label of his own. Universal Works has been set up with the aim of producing good honest menswear : well made, well considered, easy to wear and affordable. All garments and accessories are made in small, highly skilled factories, many of which are in the UK. The clothes are designed for purpose and to live way beyond one season of fashion.

Lum-Tec are about to launch their latest models from their Combat B series. The new Lum-Tec Combat B43 watches “comes with two straps, a stainless steel case, your choice of either quartz or mechanical movement and an MDV (Maximum Darkness Visibility) Swiss grade C3 Superluminova technology, which is a special 8 layer application of ultra bright glowing superluminova photoluminescent material, designed for high night time visibility. The watches are durable, given that they are water resistant to to 100 meters (or 330 feet), resistant to shocks and have a thick sapphire crystal with a doulbe-sided anti-glare coating. Each of the new watches are powered using different sources; the B11 and B15 models use a Rhonda Swiss quartz, whilst the the B12 which uses a Japanese mechanical movement.”

This "Pink 'stache" thing has been quite a talk on my facebook, even some of my friends are asking bout this "Pink Moustache".

Pink Moustache is a jakarta-based project designed to support and to create space for appreciating Indonesia's apparel, shoes, bags and or accessory brands with good concept, design and quality.

There are 2 interesting kicks i found, the Tassel Loafer and the Idler Wallabee shoe.
