Some of you might remember Footurama's picks of 12 memorable sneakers last year, and for the end of this year, they did it again. The article was posted to reminds us how great 2012 is for sneakers. Hell yea, we have Nike Flyknit and everything lunar & free this year (from Huarache, Vortex, Epic, Blazer, Force Ones, etc.), and also some nice releases from Converse, including the Missoni(s), First String, and Addict by NIGO. 2012 also marks the anniversary of Cortez (40th), Air Force 1 (30th), and Nike SB (10th). Ace Hotels x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey

Known for their Collaborative items in the past (such as with Wings+Horns, Tretorn, Havaianas, Pendleton, Number (N)ine, etc.), Ace Hotel is back again with Converse Chuck Taylor Bosey. Bosey style was originally made on the past project between Converse and Ace Hotel. Today they offer a new colorway in Navy & Black combination color inspired by the Military Stuffs. Available through Ace Hotel's Online Shop for around $ 100. To be remembered, Only 300 Pairs made so it will be pretty limited.

Converse X Staple X (RED)

Staple previosly designed the Converse Sea Star Mid with their trademark Pigeon colourway. And this year, Converse asked them to redesign the Sea Star Mid, for the Converse 1Hund(RED) project which is for helping Africa eliminates AIDS.


The result is this new Sea Star Mid, which come in this awesome Black-Red-White colour.
"In keeping with the (RED) theme, we kept this version simple: Black, White and RED. And yes, if it feels a ‘lil “23″ to you, it ain’t a coincidence. Same features as the earlier Pigeon version are all present and accounted for. Mid cut puffed out collar to give it more comfort, warmth and protection. Outsole features nautical inspired terms in case you’re stuck out in the high seas. And the exterior of the collar is water resistant as well."

The new Converse 1HUND(RED) x Staple Design Sea Star will premiere October 8th, 2009 and be sold exclusively at Reed Space in New York City.

STAPLE X CONVERSE SEA STAR

Taking his epic Pigeon colorway to yet another sneaker canvas, jeffstaple gives his latest endeavor the grey/pink treatment. Few details are known about this Converse model but from the looks of it, they are certainly on par with the previous Nike Dunk and New Balance silhouettes. The sneakers are rumored to be exclusive to colette beginning early December. Stay tuned for more information within the coming weeks.
