Yuki Matsuda, delivers a new release for Yuketen Collection. The classic and refinted piece “by master American craftsman.” The shoe offers a “hand-stitched leather uppers, heavy duty storm welted vibram christy wedge outsole and leather laces.” The leather is a dark ox blood and the shoe is limited. All handmade in the USA a great piece for the new season. The shoe looks like a hybrid between a boat shoe and work boot. I really like the blend of the two styles and it shows how the style of menswear’s transition. The best of blue and white collar styles of shoes in one.

Converse X Staple X (RED)

Staple previosly designed the Converse Sea Star Mid with their trademark Pigeon colourway. And this year, Converse asked them to redesign the Sea Star Mid, for the Converse 1Hund(RED) project which is for helping Africa eliminates AIDS.


The result is this new Sea Star Mid, which come in this awesome Black-Red-White colour.
"In keeping with the (RED) theme, we kept this version simple: Black, White and RED. And yes, if it feels a ‘lil “23″ to you, it ain’t a coincidence. Same features as the earlier Pigeon version are all present and accounted for. Mid cut puffed out collar to give it more comfort, warmth and protection. Outsole features nautical inspired terms in case you’re stuck out in the high seas. And the exterior of the collar is water resistant as well."

The new Converse 1HUND(RED) x Staple Design Sea Star will premiere October 8th, 2009 and be sold exclusively at Reed Space in New York City.
