iPhone 6 Concept by NAK Design

While we are all still anticipating for the new iPhone 5, the creative minds at French NAK Design is already come up with iPhone 6 concept. One thing that i think is quite smart is how they moved the home button to the side, which i think is a better place, and in the other hand, the moving of the home button also increases the screen area, with a possibility of a bigger screen.

Nike & Michael J. Fox Foundation | Back for the Future

I'm pretty sure you remember the movie Back to the Future II, staring Michael J Fox. This movie was set in the year 2015 and featured a shoe worn by Marty McFly himself called the Nike Mag. Well, today, September 9th 2011, 1500 replicas of this shoe will be released and auctioned off on eBay with all net proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons. You should know, Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, and disclosed his condition to the public in 1998 and he semi-retired from acting in 2000 as the symptoms of his disease worsened.

One of the most exciting outcomes of this project is that the original creative teams and Universal Studios has partnered with Nike to create a new piece of Back to the Future short film (2 min). The film explains why the 2011 Nike Mag doesn’t power lace and could be considered a lost episode of the original series where Doc Brown seeks out future gear for Marty to “fit in” to his 2015 surroundings.

This shoe lights up and is the first power rechargeable Nike shoe, However, it does not “Power Lace,” or lace itself as it does in the movie. Well, at least not til 2015 like the original movie said.

Metal back for iPhone 4

Rumour has it, that the glass back on the iPhone 4 is kinda fragile. Many brands starts to produce some alternatives to this back problem. One of em is this awesome Stainless Metal material. It gives a stronger outer for your iPhone yet still look elegant. This is 1000x better than adding a cheesy vinyl sticker or leather piece on the back of your phone. Clear plastic case is one of the best choice, but this metal thing is even better.

"The slight bevel rounds out the back of the phone, making it feel less sharp. It also adds a tough industrial look. For even more durability, adding a bumper and a front screen protector protects your phone further while still managing to keep the iPhone’s refined look. The best part is, it’s simple (only requires removing a couple screws"

Watt-Washed

There are many washing techniques for giving an aged or vintage prewashed look on your jeans. Stonewashed, acidwashed, sand or seawashed, sandpapered, bleached, etc.
On 2002-ish, some of jeans companies invented a new way to make a worned-out look on their jeans, using laser pointer.

And, in the year 2010, these lasering techniques is named (and trademarked) as Watt-Washed. The main goal of this techniques is to reduce the use of water and save up to 97.5%.

MacView concept design

Polish designer, Patrycjusz Brzezinski has came up with an amazing concept for Apple's macbook series. it is called the MacView. Even though it is just only a design (yet maybe), but many has given a credits to him for his amazing idea. It is basically a MacBook tablet with a dual touch screen.

"I had to redefine my point of view earlier today after seeing what designer Patrycjusz Brzezinski came up with as his diploma project. His concept is stunning to say the least. He created something — for lack of a better word — extremely cool. Something which I expected Apple to come up with."
