Nike Dunk SBTG "Toxic Revenge" by Ivan Prasetya

You all must have known the famous SBTG (read : Sabotage) dunks (if you don't, just google it!). Here, an Indonesian young man named Ivan Timothy Prasetya who interned at SBTG academy, has come up with this amazing pair of dunk.

"As part of the internship program at the SBTG Academy, a masterpiece was create by 20 year old Ivan Prasetya.

Having assisted on the production of many Chuck Taylor customs, Ivan’s next step was to venture his craft into a dunk using mixed mediums. As a quick and diligent learner with an unspoken desire to learn, Ivan was very quick to master clean lines and very smooth surfaces. Patience is one of his traits, and it really shows in his work.

Ivan successfully designed a digital mockup on Photoshop at his first week in using the graphic software. Basing his design from the SBTG x Methamphibian “Psychoholic Slag” Dunk hi from the Skulls of Saigon series, he switched up the pattern work to his favorite animal print and filled in the cracks with his very own character design named “Kecebong” in a toxic color palette. Having drawn his alter ego for 2 years with a marker, he got over the fear of expressing it through paint and brush on a 3D surface and nailed it at the first try. The work is of high quality and detail, almost print like.

And to ice his cake, he decided to drape the rear with a matte black studded selvage denim cloak. The final product left him extremely satisfied with pride and new realm of possibilities. He is ready for his next shoe!

Last Saturday, Indonesian Denim Group with Vision Mission Jeans held the anticipated event, Wall of Fades. Wall of Fades is a 2 days Denim Exhibition and Denim Market that held at Studiologi Kemang. Here you can see the greatness of aged denim material and also a few pairs of Raw Denim.

Wall of Fades, An Indonesian Denim Exhibition

Wall of Fades is An Indonesian Denim Exhibition by the Indigo Community (or Indonesian Denim Group) that will be held this weekend on December 5-6th 2009 at Studiologi Kemang, Jakarta. There will be around 20 Jeans to be Displayed, from European brands like Nudie, Japanese brands like Samurais, etc and then Ande Whall from New Zealand, Imperial brand from Australia and also Wall of Fades is proud to be displaying Massa Genuine Jeans on the event.

Alongside Denim Gallery, there will be A Denim Market by Indonesians Local Denim Brands, such as Vision Mission, Mischief Denim Division, Massa Genuine Jeans (or known as Iron Denim), etc. and also some Denim related seller like Penny Jakarta(sells LVCs, Samurais, Iron Hearts, etc.) and D'Gallery (sells Nudie, Ksubi, etc.) on this 2-days event. DJ KLAPR, Funk-ra and A.L.I.F.E. Selectah are also ready to spin the crowds.
